Sébastien brings together an exceptional background in mountain guiding, expedition leadership, and international event organisation. As Director and owner of Worldwide Guiding, co-owner of Chamonix Experience, and a driving force behind Chamex Events, he combines decades of hands-on experience with a strong understanding of how to turn ambitious ideas into well-planned, memorable experiences.

His career began as a mountain rescuer with the PGHM in Chamonix, before he went on to become a fully qualified ski instructor and UIAGM mountain guide. These formative years shaped his approach to leadership: staying calm under pressure, assessing risks, making sound decisions, and taking responsibility for the people around him.

Through Worldwide Guiding, Sébastien has organised and led expeditions across the globe, from Nepal and Argentina to Kenya, the North Pole, Kamchatka, Jordan, Peru, Norway, Iceland, and Canada. His personal mountaineering achievements include summiting Everest in 2011 alongside Kenton Cool and completing the first alpine ascent of Ama Dablam’s southeast ridge in 2023.

At Chamex Events, Sébastien leads the design and development of our mountain-based experiences. He oversees safety planning and risk assessment, coordinates our team of qualified mountain professionals, and ensures that every detail is carefully considered. His combination of technical expertise, organisational experience, and genuine passion for the mountains allows him to create events that are not only inspiring and memorable, but also professionally managed and built around the safety and experience of every participant.

Raised in Chamonix, Georgie has been passionate about the mountains and outdoor life from an early age. A keen mountain sports enthusiast, she loves working with people in the outdoors and creating opportunities for them to discover and connect with the mountain environment.

With a background in film production, Georgie brings valuable creative and organisational experience to Chamex Events. She has worked on mountain sports film productions and photoshoots as part of the “extreme team”, supporting projects in demanding, high-altitude environments where careful planning, adaptability, and attention to detail are essential.

Today, she combines her production experience with her love of the mountains to help create authentic and memorable experiences. From coordinating the details behind the scenes to helping clients discover the Chamonix area, Georgie brings creativity, practical know-how, and a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the outdoors with others.

Originally from the Czech Republic, Blanka discovered her passion for rock climbing, a pursuit that would shape the course of her life. Driven by a love of wild places and outdoor adventure, she travelled extensively, organising her own expeditions across the United States, South America, Asia, and Oceania. Her adventures also took her sailing through the remote waters of the South Pacific, deepening her appreciation for exploration, adaptability, and life beyond the beaten track.

Blanka moved to Chamonix in 2003, where her passion for the outdoors became part of her everyday life. Alongside her adventurous spirit, she holds a degree with honours in Evolution and Ecosystems from the Open University in the UK, bringing a scientific perspective and a strong appreciation of the natural environment.

Having worked alongside Sébastien at Chamex for 12 years, Blanka combines her international travel experience, organisational skills, and practical understanding of outdoor adventures to help bring events to life. Her attention to detail, resourcefulness, and ability to adapt make her a valuable part of the team, ensuring each project is thoughtfully organised and delivers a memorable experience.

Mathilde grew up in the mountains of Savoie and has focused her career on tourism and marketing in the outdoor world. She has worked as a press officer in the resort of Val Thorens, as a logistics manager for a ski brand, and then as a consultant and creator of mountain holidays in the Chamonix valley.
She has been living in the valley since 2019, knows Chamonix like the back of her hand and loves interacting with other people. She will share her love of the mountains with you and put all her energy into helping you achieve your goals.

A lover of long mountain treks, she is persevering and has a keen eye for detail, both in preparing her mountaineering trips and in her work.
